We live about 3 1/2 hours away and are coming down the night before because we have a 7:10am flight. Will being there by 5:30 be early enough time? I am traveling with DH, 5 year old and 2 1/2 year old. We will have checked in and our boarding passes, but will need to check luggage and security. We are flying Southwest and opted not to buy EBCI for our flight down to Orlando. I am still debating if we will for our flight back.

Any feedback/thoughts are appeciated!

That is PLENTY of time. We live right by the Milwaukee airport and always arrive 1 hr before and have always gotten to the gate before boarding. And I travel a lot.

Thanks! I figured we wouldn't need to be there two hours early, but this is good to know since we do have an early flight. I am too neurotic to cut it close, but even if we are there a little closer to 6 it would be nice!

Have you ever used the WallyPark in Milwaukee for parking?

We fly out of MKE, as well. We always use the SuperSaver lot at the airport. Its $7 per day. We rarely have more that a 5 minute wait for the shuttle.

MKE is my home airport, and I recommend it to many people up here who would normally fly out of GB or even Appleton. It's less than four hours away, lots of decent hotels nearby, inexpensive parking, easy to get through security, etc.
