Space Mtn Down Until September 17...

Space Mountain:
This past Tuesday Space mountain closed due to problems with Lap bars in the cars. The next morning the ride opened briefly and was closed once again. The attraction will now remain closed until it returns on the 17th with its Ghost Galaxy overlay.

We'll see if people in the park note it is still down today and this weekend or not. I think it is just a matter of convinience to report it closed early because of spotty performance this week.

It was suppose to remain closed until Ghost Galaxy was ready due to the ongoing technical issues but at the last minute, things changed and they are able to open Space Mountain today prior to the beginning of the Sunday GG install downtime. Scheduling has been scrambling getting space cm's in because they had already given a lot of CM's Friday/Saturday off due to the unplanned closure.

Rode it today three times today but it wasn't open until a couple of hours after park opening. There was no line for awhile because I think people were expecting it to stay closed.
