That is hilarious!!! :rotfl::lmao:

OMG! That was my guide for my KTTK tour this past Monday....If I had only been able to check the boards while I was there....too funny!

Did you like the tour? I thought Matthew was AWESOME! You can tell he truly loves what he does.

LOVED the tour - it is my favorite one. I was a little dissapointed that we only went on 1 ride - Haunted Mansion. He seemed a little out of sorts from the beginning.
One girl almost passed out while we were in the ultilidoors area. And Mathew almost started crying when he talked about why he loved working for Disney.

I was also a little disappointed we only went on HM. You can really tell he loves working for Disney. That or he is a good actor, he almost cried talking about it to us, too.

When did you take the tour?
I have taken it 3 other times and have ridden Haunted Mansion on all of them, plus either Jungle Cruise or Pirates. One tour guide wanted to take us on TTA, but we ran out of time.

We took it last Tuesday. I was hoping we were going to ride Jungle Cruise also, at least. It was cool to see all the back stage stuff and spend a little extra time down there. Our tour ran late since he showed us so much, we went til 1:45.

I took it this past Monday. He had said something about working until 3am the night before and being called in to work that morning last minute. So he was great for going on what was probably less than 4 hours of sleep! He was pretty funny at times. I know people looked at me strange as I was walking along in the crowds just laughing (at the voices in my head!).
Ours ran a little late too - but some of that was due to the girl who had to leave during the tour to get medical aid.

We were talking about people and what they must be thinking about a group of people who all of a sudden look one way and laugh at nothing obvious haha.

That was pretty funny! Since you've done it 3 times, was the tour different everytime? Or pretty much the same? I was thinking it would be fun to do it again, but wasn't sure if it would be worth it.

For me, the tour is different every time, depending on who your guide is. While most of the "inside information" is the same, the whole feeling is different. I may have a TR of one of my times taking the tour around here somewhere....

Hey all! We're back! I can't wait to catch up and finish this TR!!!! Tonight should be able to get one done!!! :love:

I am so sorry but my Dad is not doing well in his new place and I just have not had the time to get the next chapter started. Hours on the phone with docs and social workers. :sad1:

I will try tonight...tom should be an easy day to accomplish at least one chapter!! :worship:

I just came across your trip report and I am dying laughing. Your writing style cracks me up. And that Space Mt. photo is EPIC. Seriously legendary. My sister and I are always trying to think up unique ride photos, but we usually fail. The funniest ones always come from Dinosaur because we are legitimately scared to death and I'm typically curled up in a ball, hiding my head from the big, scary dino.

Your kids seem like great people, too. I'm 19, and I hate that there are so many teens out there who think they're "too cool" for Disney. Nobody is "too cool" for Disney. I like to embrace the magic and let loose. I readily volunteer to get tons of water dumped on me at the Backlot Tour Pre-show. I'm the one who got the whole theater to clap along at the end of the Tiki Room. And then proceeded to lead my family out of the show in a conga line. It's nice to know that there are other kids out there who feel the same way. :thumbsup2
