Space Mountain Closed (?)

Hi everyone,

I had a friend who was in the parks last week. Apparently, Space Mountain was closed that day.

Does anyone know if it's scheduled to be closed, or how long that would be for?

I'll be in MK later this week (!!!!), and have a FastPass+ for Space ... I'm kind of hoping that Disney wouldn't give out Fastpasses for something that isn't ride-able...

I know Splash is closed, but that's not my primary concern.

I'm hoping the closure was just for the day.
