space 220 question

This may be a silly question but are the 'bar' and 'lounge' the same thing here? Or are these two different things? Would really like to check out the restaurant but don't want to have a full meal. I've read that under 21 are not allowed at the bar but what about the lounge?

while it says no under 21 at bar and everyone may get a different response when attempted here is our experience. we arrived about 45 minutes before space 220 opened. They were 2 couples already waiting against the wall right outside the door (that's where walk up line is) I asked the women in charge of the line if the 3 kids in our group (12,15,17) could sit at bar she said yes. my cousin said it says on website they cant. I asked again she assured me they can. When the restaurant opened we where let in about 10 minutes later. They sat us kids included at the bar and never had an issue . The bartender acted as if it happens all the time. The bar only hold 10 people but sometimes they sat the wait line at tables in the lounge if they have room. the lounge is just a few tables in the bar area so its kinda the same thing.

For the purposes of designating Space 220's seating policies, the "bar" is the barstools facing the bartenders. The bar is first come first seated.

the "lounge" is the lounge tables. You most likely need a reservation to sit at the lounge tables.

There are reports that they won't let kids sit on the barstools, but there are also conflicting reports that they will.

Years ago at Ohana my daughters both sat at the bar while waiting to be seated. They had non-alcoholic drinks. I think it depends on who's there to enforce it.
