I went to Space 220 Lounge for lunch last week. Space 220 in general gets a really punishing review in the Unofficial Guide, but for me, the lounge experience was okay.

I had the Gemini Burger, which was quite good, as were the french fries that accompanied it. All of the space station-related effects were interesting, I would say, but probably not anything diners would want to see multiple times. I thought they were clever and well done. (The "space elevator" idea, by the way, is a real thing that scientists have pondered as a more efficient way to travel into space.)

As the UG notes, this place is quite expensive, but any sit-down spot for lunch in the theme parks is not going to be a bargain. For what it's worth, it is also possible to order off the regular lunch menu in the lounge, but that crossed the line for me as that is REALLY pricey. But I would say, some lounge food and the outer space surroundings are worth a visit. If the burger is still offered, I might come back in the future--really, that was a good burger.

I agree about the burger! I had it last month as a change up from my norm of the cauliflower and sliders n goes. I have two reservations next week and will more than likely have the burger on at least one of those trips.

It also shows just how much the markup is for the prix fixe meal. The burger is $28, but the meal for lunch is $55. So you’re basically paying $27 for the appetizer. That’s why reservations are so hard to get!

I can’t make myself get excited about the food here is my problem. Especially in a park that has so many better restaurants. Good tip about the burger though!

True, this is more of a novelty thing to try, rather than a "Wow, let's eat!" place a-la Via Napoli or Le Cellier. I would be surprised if the space theming can pull in enough guests long term to keep this place going.

We ate in the lounge on our last trip & thoroughly enjoyed the food & experience. We were fortunate to have a table in the lounge just off centre, so had a good view of the large screens. Yes the food is a bit pricey, but thats par for the course at any theme park restraunt.
