Spa Treatment - Algea Detox?

I was just reading about the Algea Detox and it sounds like something I need to do to get rid of a few inches!!!!!!!!!!

Has anyone here done this spa treatment? Does it really work and what does it cost?

Our daughter did it this past march..they told her she lost like three inches...she couldn't see it.

IMO, opt for the seaweed wrap instead. I don't know about losing inches, but you will feel totally detoxified! Plus it includes a massage, so how can you go wrong

although i havent done this at disney, i do one about every month at the spa in my hometown ( they cant be that different )

what they do is do a salt scrub all over your body then they rub a algea mix ( moist algea, but not slimy ) and then they wrap you up like a buritto in blankets. you then go and rinse off in a shower . next you lay back down and they put body butter all over.

when you leave your skin feels GREAT. i havent ever noticed any weight loss and even if you lose a little weight its just excess water weight. but i do think it flushes your body of toxins ( all that alcohal ) after you do one your ... umm ... potty is lime green for the rest of the day. and its Very important that you drink lots of water that day because you could get sick if you dont.

And FOR THE LOVE OF GOD dont do anything with a salt scrub if you have a sunburn!!! but if you are using a good strong SPF go for it and relax.
