Spa discount?

Is the DVC discount for the Spa's only for the members or can I use it for my mother who is staying with us? If so, would I have to pay the bill to get the discount or can she? Thanks!

I would at least think they might ask you for the blue member card. Cannot guess whether she would then be allowed to pay for the bill? They might let her...Maybe someone else has more info.
