Souvie question

Hi all.

I honestly have no idea where to post this question but we'll see who bites on it here or wherever the mods might move it to. I am a military brat and recently started mailing care packages to troops in Iraq. I was thinking about getting some WDW things from my october (maybe) trip and sending them.

1) do any of you think this would be appreciated? kind of a reminder of home.
2) what if anything would you all suggest? Remember it can't be something that wil melt or spoil in the nearly week it takes to get there or 100+ temps and as a college student I won't have a ton to spend.

The group I mail to is primarily men, a few women all stationed in Kentucky and number around 20.

what if you were able to collect some of the soaps & shampoos from the resorts. Our troops could use them & they are free.

I was thinking that Disney probably does support of the troops with special products, etc. Maybe get in touch with someone who would know and get your base's name on their list. I'd start with staff in the Public Relations office.
