We are leaving in 2 days to Disney World (I'm so excited I can't see straight!!) and yesterday we found out DD5’s school will be studying holidays in other countries.

Her class has France for their country and the school will be having a big world celebration during the week after we return from our trip. Might anyone have a France related souvenir idea for this kindergarten class of 17 students?

Small French chocolates with holiday theme wrappings?

They might be a little young for vino...

Small chocolates sound like a great idea.

When DS was around that age, he found a ABCs in French Coloring book at the France Pavillion that he really liked. That was 12 years ago tho, so I have no idea if they still have anything like that....

The chocolates are quite expensive but SO good. The kids would really love them. There are different kinds of chocolates to pick from. They were about 60 cents a piece. But that would probably be the best thing to get. The chocolates are in the shop with kitchen stuff (it's the shop connected to the wine shop) and it's across from the bakery.

There isn't really anything else you could get for a whole class. There's keychains, cards (they were $6 each), magnets. All the other souvenirs were something you would probably just get for one person. Like big pictures of France, books, t-shirts.

Do they have simple childrens books in french/ english? Or a young persons guide to France, maybe a doll in a traditional french outfit (if its any dif from jeans & t-shirt)

last time were there they had some cheaper things in the movie building in france, the other stores were pretty pricey, i think i recall some maps and books etc. maybe he could get one thing like a story book for the whole class instead of individual things, i might be misremembering but i thought i remember madeline and maybe curious george books( we weren't in the market so i wasn't studying kid's merchandise)

No I don't think they have simple childrens books. They do have some books but I think it would get quite expensive if buying for a whole class.

I also say shop in the little gift shop where the movie lets out. They tend to have smaller, less expensive items.

You can get something small (like the chocolates) and add some park maps in French
(which are free ;) )
