Ok so we booked our airfare last night i think we got a decent price, i think.. i have heard though if the price drops we get a credit toward our next flight within a year well i was wondering can the credit be put towards the early bird check in on this flight?

No. Unfortunately, a cc # is required to purchase EBCI. At least it was a few months ago, unless it has changed very recently. I'd love to burn up small credits that way.

As of last week it had not changed. EBCI must be paid for. I think SW makes a lot of money giving credits out that are never used...

ok, I just bought airfare for late Aug/early Sept. I could not apply credits toward EBCI. It flat out told me that credits can only be applied to flights & that I must enter a cc #.
