Southwest Summer Fares back up!!!!

I just booked this morning our flights for $59 in August. Just fooling around with the dates just now and all the fares are back up to $154!!!! Under the internet collumn it shows $59-$158. If you click on a fare. The next page shows $166.90 with tax!!!

Me too! I bought at $59 for August this morning too and went back online just now to show a friend and the fares were all one hundred and fifty something. Sooo glad I bought this morning!

Wow! I thought my computer was messed up somehow; or I was in the Twilight Zone. My husband always warned me about SW being very unpredictable. Just when you think you have them figured out, they change.

This is why I don't leave the house when I am waiting for southwest to release their dates. I want Deals!!!

Ahhhhh I'm so frustrated right now!!

Had to wait for my brother to get back to me with an ok to book it and it was too late to get the good fare!

Sigh - I guess I wait and hope for the fares to drop again

Thanks for posting this OP. I just went to check the 5 tickets I had booked this morning at $59 each ($67.90 w/ taxes) & they're now $158 each ($166.90 w/ taxes). I don't feel like such an uber-geek now after sitting anxiously on the computer for 11am & posting here, repeatedly about it! Saves a lot of anxiously checking the computer daily for the next several months for that price to lower.

Going to bed happy tonight & it has nothing to do with DH!
