Southwest Sale - I LOVE Southwest!!!

I have always been refunded to my cc (3 different trips). I call (214) 792-4223 then press 1 and then press 2. I just simply tell them that my price has dropped and I would like a refund to my cc please. It's never an issue. I always book the non-refundable fare, and have always been refunded right away.

I was just able to save $140 for my flight to Orlando, but my return flight couldn't be booked at the $59 rate. It's seems like it's a busy weekend to fly. I'll keep checking just in case something opens up - but I'm thrilled with the savings so far. :cool1:

We're going next Dec....2007. I hope the prices are like this then-LOL!

I just got $59 each way for my Dec 3 trip.....YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wonder what is up with St. Louis? I need cheap airfare to Orlando in October. I check every day. Nothing :(

Mark P thanks for the telephone #. I gave them a call and they credited my charge card no problem. Yeah!!! Love the Disboards for all of their information!!! :disrocks:

I agree with St. Louis.. never feeling the love in Kansas City... the cheapest flight I can get to Orlando on Nov 23 (I know thanksgiving!) is $189 ONE WAY! Holding out for a cheaper fare.

Try airtran dot you-know-what....they are very competitive with southwest ;)

I've looked into AirTran, but they have no direct flights and the connections are like leave KCI at 7:30AM and arrive in Orlando at 3PM. :(

Midwest is not so bad, but it expensive.

:wave2: HEY BOBBIE How's it going?? Super news 'bout the flights eh? I can't check my return prices yet since it is outside the current released dates but the 140 saving is great :cheer2:

:cool1: Thanks so much for this information. I have never rebooked a flight through Southwest. With a lot of worry, I just cancelled our flight down to orlando and like you all have said the money was there for me to use to rebook that same flight. I saved $120.00 today. :cool1: I tried for our return flight but it said unavailable for the day and time we wanted. I guess I will just keep checking back. Now all I have to figure out is how to get DING to work. I downloaded it the other night and everytime I try to install it I get a message that says system corrupt. :confused3 :disrocks:

Thanks again

I have to admit... I never once have considered booking one-ways and then worrying about the return flight later. It's that worrying that worries me! LOL!! I'm in the same boat as Donald-my hero -- we return one day later than SW's schedule is open. Bah!

I've booked one-ways in the past due to the cut off, we had no problems and it saved us $$. And it's one less thing to worry about IMO since you have just one leg to worry about instead of two!! :goodvibes

I booked a long weekend trip last night for DD12 and I the end of Nov (DH is staying home so it will be our first girls only trip). I had a $110 credit that was going to expire in Jan so between the sale fare and the credit our tickets cost just $80 r/t.
