Ok....maybe an odd questions, I'm not sure.

I applied for, received and spent the 2k for the 50,000 Rapid Rewards points on their visa. My statement cut yesterday and I'm figuring that the points will show relatively soon.

My question is....there is a strong possibility I am going to have to call Disney to take a person off of my reservation. If I do that, will they reprice my vacation and credit, then charge my credit card for the purchase?

If they do this, will southwest take the points I have earned since it will be a credit and then award them again even if I have booked my flight?

I'm somewhat confused and hope I don't sound confusing.

It's been my experience that your Rapid Rewards account does get debited when you return something or cancel a purchase. However, I have never done this right after getting bonus points awarded as a result of the purchase, nor have I done it when I had already used the points to make flight reservations.

If you have paid for your vacation in full, Disney will refund the difference back to your card. If you still have a balance, then Disney can apply the difference to the balance without doing a refund that might affect your RR account.

Thank you. I have already paid in full. That is really what I was hoping. There probably wouldn't be a $20 difference because I would be switching resorts. I'm still hoping I don't have to switch anything!
