Southwest Rapid Rewards Travel

We are going to be at WDW for Christmas this year and were hoping to use Rapid Rewards credits to obtain 4 roundtrip tickets on Southwest.

Does anyone have experience using rewards during the holidays? If we book on the first day seats are available for travel, what are our chances? We will be flying out of Philadelphia on 12/22 and returning on 1/2.

Probably very slim. Depending on when you earned the rewards they may be subject to blackout dates.

December blackout dates
December 22
December 26
December 29
December 30

January 2, 2007 is also a blackout date.

I would adjust your travel dates and book the MOMENT you hear they have opened your dates!
