Am I able to change my flight from Friday night to Saturyday afternoon without charge with Southwest?

The only charge [refund] you will get will be in the price difference between your Friday night and Saturday afternoon flight. If you paid $99 for the Friday flight and the Saturday flight is $119, you will pay $20. Conversely, if the Saturday flight is $89 then you will receive a SWA credit for use on a future flight as long as that flight is within a year of the original purchase date of your current flight.
