Ok question here. Price went down on my southwest flight. I bought the early bird check-in. Does that change if I rebook at the lower price?

thanks

Actually just got off the phone with Southwest regarding the exact same thing. Our fares for Aug. went down by $200 total so they told me to go on-line and change the flight and the early check-in would still be intact since that is a different confirmation number. I just finished changing both of our flights and we are now all set with cheaper fares and still have the early check-in. My only other question would be since we have never flown Southwest, is do they offer you upgrades when you check-in on-line before your flight. We did this on our trip last Aug. with Delta and got the upgrade really cheaply.

Southwest has nothing to upgrade to, they do not have first class or a business class. All the seats are coach

Since this is your first time flying SWA, I recommend you check out their Boarding School.

Also, you must use your SWA credit within one year of your original purchase date. These credits are nontransferrable and must be used by the original named passenger.

thanks for your answers!! good news .. just love southwest and the free baggage (i'm an over packer)

As long as your confirmation number stays the same, your EBCI will follow.
