Southwest - Only "Fun Fares" Left, No Promo/Internet - Ding Possible?

I booked myself, my DD and my BIL on SWA two weeks ago. Now, my step-father wants to my BIL on his flights. My step-father is retired from United and we all assumed that he would fly on his stand-by tickets but MCO is a bear to get into/out of and he doesn't want to hassle with it. *sigh* I wish he had told me two weeks ago!

Anyway ... I look on SWA and his inbound flight is a $99 "Promotional" fare and the outbound flight is a $129 "Fun" fare and his RT is a full $100 more than what we booked two weeks ago ($64 each way). Do you think there will be a Ding! that covers his dates (Aug 12/Aug20) this late in the game and with the other promotional fares booked solid?

You might get lucky, but the Dings I have been getting this week are for September (and limited days) I think since you are at about a month out I would just buy. Odds are it will just go up.
