Southwest - nonstop and calendars

How far in advance do the southwest booking calendars open? I see that currently you can only book through January 4th and I think it's been that way for at least the past couple weeks...

Also, do they only fly non stop between some cities seasonally? For our city, non stop availability seems to end at the end of October, not sure how early in the year it might be available again....is this common? Is there a possibility that more flights might be added as the dates get closer?

Go to buying tickets and getting the best fare, it has the schedule extensions so you will know when to look.

We are currently accepting air reservations through January 4, 2015. On July 21, 2014, we will open our schedule for sale through March 6, 2015. This date is subject to change! Please check back frequently.

What city are you in? It could be seasonal or they could have ended non-stop service. If it's not profitable, they end the route. It's very rare for SW to add flights after dates are released.
