southwest/ME question

if you are flying southwest can you put the me tags on your bags and have them brought to your room or do you have to get them yourself and put them on the bus?

My understanding is that you can use the tags going to your resort (and they will magically appear in your room...no need to pull them yourself), but on the return flight, you have to handle your luggage...ie...put it on the bus and then go through the check-in line at the airport.

There has been a buzzz about SWA becoming a participating airline for the trip back, but I have not seen anything official yet.

I hope that if any of this info is incorrect, someone will correct it, as I am flying SWA for our June trip.

Going into Orlando just tag your bags with the Disney tags. They will be in your room later in the day. Going out is when the participating airlines comes into effect. Southwest is not a participating airline yet and so you are on your own with the bags. You get them on and off the bus and to the SW counters. If your airline is participating than all you do is drop them off at Disney and they end up in your home airport.
