Thanks for posting this, Janet. I just checked, and the return flights are coming up at $145, so I'm going to hold off and hopefully get a better internet deal or a DING. We can be pretty flexible over the course of 3 days of coming home, so I'm not going to panic to get a flight ... YET! And since I KNOW we won't be flying again within the year, I don't want to book and cancel ... anyone think I"m totally NUTS for not booking now (ie. do you think I'll be stuck in Orlando with no way to get back home?)

I said we weren't going again until 2008 ... and I kept true to my word for 8 whole months! I"m beginning to think my co-workers are right ... therapy to break me of my Disney habit WOULD be a lot cheaper! But not nearly as much fun.

SSSHHHHH ... haven't told the kids yet ... which is yet another record for me since I booked the flights almost 2 weeks ago.

Ours was coming up for $145 for the departure (which I'm sure will change) and the return was already at the third level at $167 (which I know won't change b/c already two levels gone and it is the busiest day Friday, December 22. All those Floridians coming home for Christmas too!)

So we booked Pittsburgh, same dates, for $79 each way!!!! We don't mind.

I got my DH's tickets to fly back on the 15th now.. Looking forward to looking for a great sale! $134.88 seems like tons to me since I got tickets last year for $75 return taxes in!

Situation:
I have the kids and I booked early Dec BUF-MCO at $59 each .

Now that the new schd. has opened up, I need to book DH BUF-MCO (currently priced at $145) mid-Dec as well as all of us either TPA-BUF (choice #1) or MCO-BUF early January (both currently priced at $145).

I really don't want to book all these flight segments at $145 each plus tax just to have the price come down (via DING or SWA sale) then get stuck with ticketless travel funds (that I would not have the opportunity to use).

Since none of the dates of travel would be considered peak travel times, perhaps I should wait to book the rest of these flights?

Any thoughts anyone??
