it was surprisingly a lot like WDW, LOL.....long lines to get into the museums, overpriced food, and expensive hotel rooms

I hadn't been in years, and it was the first time for our kids. We only had 48 hours and crammed a lot in. Our next door neighbor is a US Representative, so we got a guided tour of the Capitol, which was probably the highlight of the trip. Our youngest is only 21 months, so she played in the side yard of the Capitol while they took the tour....I was sure we'd get into trouble, but the Capitol police got a big kick out of it

A nice trip, but I'm glad we have a WDW planned later this year!
