Southwest is announcing 1st qtr results on April 20th

I wonder if this has anything to do with the delay in extending reservations out to Sept/Oct??? This was on their website...

Southwest Airlines' First Quarter 2006 Financial Results conference call to be webcast live on April 20, 2006 at 11:30 a.m. ET.

I don't know but I have ants in my pants waiting for the dates!!!

It would be pretty earth-shaking if they had a quarter in the red -- enough to warrant congressional hearings on re-regulation of the industry. I doubt that's the case.

It could be the other way and have a record qtr and want to wait for all the press to release new dates & prices!!

That would probably be just as remarkable, though more likely to cause a grand jury investigation than a congressional hearing!
