Hi all!

We fly from Newark to MCO in one week! Yay!
Question is, will Southwest Airlines need to see the birth certificates of my two 10 year old grandsons? They are traveling with myself, and their moms, (my daughters).

I have only ever heard of Southwest requiring a birth certificate is for children under 2 who are flying as a lap baby.

No id is necessary for kids under 18. The only time the airline requires a birth certificate is if you have a lap child under the age of 2, they want the birth certificate to prove that the lap child is under 2.

Nope. I've flown SW numerous times with DS and never been asked for his birth cert. We've taken at least one round trip flight a year since he was 5. As others mentioned, a birth cert is only requested when flying with a lap child
