Southwest --How do I transfer a credit from last year's trip?

It looks like I won't be flying SW since they took my nonstops away. I want to give my credit to a friend. How do I go about doing this? Can I just transfer it to her or do I need to make the reservations for her? (which I will be doing anyway)

I * think* you just apply your credit when booking your friend on-line...as if you were using it for yourself, you will need your Confirmation # of the flight it is a credit for and after entering info hit apply funds..and it should apply the credit. If you are unsure, youcan call SW and they will walk you through it by phone while you book online.

The PP is correct. All she needs is the confirmation number and the name the flight was booked under. Very, very easy.
She just needs to click on the "Apply Travel Funds" button when booking her travel.
