Can someone help with rebooking info on Southwest? I booked roundtrip to MCO in August and the outbound leg of my flight dropped in price. Can I rebook my outbound flight without having to cancel the roundtrip fare? I have a roundtrip confirmation number. Unfortunately, the return flight is priced higher or I would just rebook the entire reservation.

This is very easy to do. You do not need to cancel your reservation. On the Southwest website there is a section called Travel Tools. Under this heading is a place to click to Change a Reservation. You need to put in the confirmation number and then your reservation is displayed. You can choose to change only one leg (or both) of your trip by checking next to that leg. It will bring you to another reservation screen where you can choose the same flight with the lower price. At the end, the difference in price is displayed. If you have not changed date or time of your flight you may be able to get the difference credited back to your credit card by calling Southwest's 214 customer service number also found on the website. Good luck!

Bowen9475, Thank you for your assistance. I rebooked and received credit for the first leg of my trip.

There were no added fees to the reservation. I rebooked the same flight, but at the reduced fare.

Was there a rebooking fee like on other flights where it costs you $50 for each change?
