Southwest-fares went down-booked with rapid rewards points

What if I booked with rapid rewards points from the credit card bonus? My fares went from $148 down to $109 x THREE tickets.....Can I get refunded those extra bonus points or not? How do I do that? CALL OR ONLINE???

we've been able to do that in the past online. Log on and change your flight, excess points should be added back to your acct.

I've done it online. You just go in and change your flight, pick the same one (or a new one) and the points will be returned and then reissued.
