So I'm trying to buy our tickets for December... I thought that the lowest fare right now is $79 (the "Internet One-Way" price) but then last night dh saw the Promotional Fare for $64. The rules between the two don't seem to make a difference. But I don't understand why they only list the $79 fare on the list of fares to Orlando?? This isn't a special DING price, it is listed right before the Internet One-Way price. I just want to make sure I am doing the right thing before I buy our tickets at the Promotional rate. It doesn't make complete sense to me... Dh says stop questioning it and just buy them already! lol

Oh and our travel dates are Dec 2nd-evening (we wanted the morning of Dec 3rd, but those are gone already!! Maybe they will open up more later???) and returning Dec 10th in the evening.

We are of course hoping, but not counting on, a sale... $49 would be good, that's what we paid in May. :)

Promotional fare requires RT Travel to get $64 rate I think. In the big picture, what that means is that if an internet OW special opens up for $49, and only one leg of your trip is available at the $49 rate, you may not be able to combine it with a $64 rate. BTW, I just tried your dates of 12/3-12/10 and the $64 was available both ways. Total Cost $146.90 which I think is pretty good. For a Sat - Sat trip, it's probably worthwhile to grab it if the flight times suit you.

Thanks, that's a good point above not being able to combine the different rates... I just spoke with dh and he said he did try to combine a $64 with a $79 and it did let him. But who knows if that would work with a $49 too?

The thing above December 3rd was that we only wanted a morning flight-those were all gone. It was just afternoon/evening ones still open. But again, I don't know if they'll open up more seats later?

:)
