I got a great deal on a 6 bedroom house in the Emerald Island area for November, but I need to reserve some dates now. I had planned to fly out of Buffalo on a weekend (Sunday) , but before I book the house is there a big difference (if at all) between Southwest prices if flying on a weekend vs the weekday? I would need a total of 7 tickets.

I don't believe SW changes their airfares for weekend dates. Your best bet is to go on the SW website and start punching in some weekend vs weekday dates for their current reservation window to see if this is their practice or not.

The cheapest days to fly on are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Thats not to mean that the other days of the week will cost you more, it simply means you have a better chance of getting an even better fare on the slower days of the week.
After all, lets face it, no matter which day you fly on, you will still be saving a ton over flying out of YYZ.

I believe CDN Prince Charming is right. I should have been clearer in my previous post. SW uses a grid to represent their airfares. Most expensive (Refundable Fare) on left and running to the least expensive (Internet Special Fare) on the right. SW may not actually change the price of fares from day to day or weekday to weekend but they may choose to block out cheaper fares on certain days, leaving you with higher prices or they may choose to block out cheaper fares on a number of flights that day leaving you with less chance of getting the lowest fare. They may also put in Internet Special Fares that are for example $59 - $114. This allows them to not change the price but still charge a different amount at different times or on different days. I still think it is very rare for them to acutally change the price of airfare on a per fare basis within a given week. That is not to say it is never done. Nonetheless, CDN Prince Charming is correct...there are certain days as they've mentioned that tend to be cheaper than others.

I find that the rates for Tues, Wed and Thurs are usually the cheapest. This year we are flying out on a Wed and returning on a Thurs. Low rates for both days. :)
