YEAH!!

Due to a death in my family :( I had to cancell my trip to WDW with my 8 year old this August. (as a matter of fact..we'd be there right now!!). ONe of the hard parts of giving up the trip was knowing that I had gotten such a great deal on airfare (99.99 round trip Hartford to MCO)...but...that's life..

So, lo and behold...I read my email today and see that Southwest is having a sale....AGAIN!

So, I put in my dates (shortened now that school will be in session) and the tickets came out to the exact same price as my credit....to the cents!!) Guess it was just mean to be.

Go on over and check the airfares....I bet those of you with AP's just won't be able to resist.

Now, if I could just figure out how the SW boarding thing works!

cindy,
You can check in after 12:01 am on the day of your flight, assuming your reservations are separate. If not, call and have them separated.

When I got my Fall Airfare Sale yesterday I checked my flights and my return flight had gone down from $79 (which I thought was great) to $49 (also to BDL). A savings of $120 total for us! I called SWA and the CSR person walked me through changing the reservation. Woohoo! My flight down was still the same, but the total price is now in the range where I wanted it. :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Did you get a refund for the savings? or do you have a credit for a future flight?

I almost booked last week at the $79 each way...but decided to hold off to see if they came up with an airfare sale...and they did. I'm glad I waited. Now I'm just waiting for an October room only code to match the discount code I had for August...then I'll really be all set!

I got a credit but I'm going to call the customer service number today to apply for a refund. Since it's the same flight I should be able to get it.

I can't believe airports further up north are getting waaay better rates than our airport. Usually we have really good rates-- but nothing really too much right now. I'm looking to book a 4-5 day trip in Oct-- I can be really flexible w/ the dates but I can't seem to get it under 100 pp RT.

I tend to be very patient to wait for good airfares, and I'm usually a bit flexible on my dates. I really like using Travelocity because of the "my dates are flexible" option. I also have signed up for several Email Notifications which is how I was alerted for Southwest airlines Fall fare sale. Don't despair...I know the discounted airfare is out there for you!
