Hey Mike:

Just talked to someone from Delta. She said she has never heard of the seat policy and asked me where it was on the SWA website. Strange.

Happy Halloween everyone !!!

Most employees have little or no knowledge of their companies' rules and regs. and less for the competition's. Most airlines have this policy, the fact that one CSR did not know it does not negate this fact. Rather that arguing this point endlessly, take the time and read the contract of carriage on each airline's web site.

This one cries out for the summoning by you of the complaint resolution officer prior to takeoff unless other airline personal fully satisfy you beforehand.

OT: I have seen the following in some major airlines' contracts of carriage, at least as paraphrased in the former section "rules of the air" in onetravel dot com:

... may refuse to tranport a passenger who ...
(snip)
... is obnoxious

Don't want to wait for the Acrobat reader to launch so am not verifying Delta's contract of carriage nright now.

There was no reason to summon anyone, the offending passenger was removed from my flight and became the carriers problem at the gate while we were rolling down the tarmac.
