Southwest credit

So are December's flight home just went down. So I cancelled mine and it saved me over 3000 points. I cancelled my friends and re booked. Then I called southwest to find out how much of a credit. She had because I had down the same thing with out flights down but it was $ 40 cheaper. Anyway the nice lady on the phone said we didn't need to cancel and rebook anymore. Next time call them up tell them the price went down, they would credit us and we could keep the same confirmation number. That would have been nice and way easier.

I did this the other day. Saved $24 for one flight. So our Vegas flights round trip $90 for 2 people. We used some of our points and only had to pay for 1 flight back

This can be done online, too. I have done this often over the years.
