TravelSheryl, thank you so much for the info. I just called SW airlines and was able to secure tix from Hartford to LAX. I have been looking for good prices for a few weeks and all the flights were so expensive. This is great and the flight times aren't bad either. Total cost with tax is $218 round trip per person. Other flights I have been looking at have been over $400 with some terrible times. Thanks again. Now we can definitely go to DCA.

As noted above, this Southwest fare sale does not apply to Florida travel between March 15 and April 15; however, I just learned that other carriers who are matching this fare sale do not all have this time period blacked out. Continental has roundtrip fares available on some dates during that time period from Houston to Orlando for $206.50.

Can't believe how good those rates are...it is costing grandma $230 to fly from Pensacola to Orlando beginning of march to join us...amazing
