Hi, we are leaving tomorrow morning! :cool1:

I used EBCI with Southwest, and I got A 60; and the rest of my family got B1 and B2.

So, is that sort of the same thing? I will be getting on at the end of the As, and then my husband and daughter get on right after me?

Or, can I get on with the group of As in no particular order, secure our seats, and then they get on with the Bs?

How does it work?

TIA!

They will line up the A group first. There are podiums with places to stand, in groups of 5. You will be the last person on the plane in Group A.

Immediately after the will line up the B group, and your family with B1 and B2 will be the first people on from the group.

A1-15 spots go to business travelers or others who have paid full price for the flight..not usually a lot of them. So, everyone lines up, according to their boarding pass. The sections are A16-20, A21-25 and so on up to A60. After that, those families who are boarding as 'families with children under 4' are allowed to board now. Then, when they are done, the B group starts...your dh and dd will be first in that group. You can board at A60, secure your seats...all in one row I would think...and they can take the seats when they board, shortly thereafter.

We had the same situation during our trip this past January. I had A60, my wife and boys had B1-B3. I nicely asked the gate agent if they could board with me at the end of the A's and they told me no problem.

Go ahead and ask and see what they say. There still should be seats together with early B seatings should they say no.

Good Luck.

Thanks so much----my daughter is a small 5, so I think we will likely all be able to board at the same time--especially if I ask nicely at the gate!
