Southwest $49 $99 $129 and $199 sale on now

Saw someone used a coke code...I have one of those, but I was wondering if I booked 5 tickets if it takes the $20 off each ticket? Or just $20 off the total? I read it said could have up to 8 on one reservation, but didn't know if the discount was good for all.

$20 off each so savings of $100!

BWI to MCO isn't included in the sale, but prices dropped this evening (were the same this morning) so I just took the plunge and bought them! I'm still paying about $80 per person more than last year, but I'm OK with that seeing as we got great flight times. Let the countdown begin!

When are you traveling? We are BWI to MCO in November and it is $400.00 pp rt..compared to the $150.00 we paid last trip...

I moved my dates slightly and saved a ton of points, getting fares each way for $99 is amazing! (PHL to MCO). It was nice to see those points go back into my pile.

So…. Do we think this is the "birthday" or "anniversary" sale? It hasn't been advertised as such; would they really run two sales so close together? I thought I read somewhere that the anniversary sale would start June 10. Anyt good guesses?

Totally bummed. Been watching flights for a couple weeks and this sale did not change the prices any for our dates of travel. Hope they still run the other sale that has been mentioned

Not to MCO but I did score Louisville to BWI for $49 each way!!! Woohoo!! We are visiting DC for fall break this year. $392 total for RT nonstops for 4 people! Can't beat that!! Now if only the crazy hotel rates in DC would drop then. Hotels near the attractions are pricing out between $250-$500 a night. Ouch.

We are going to Washington in Sept too. Our departure on Sun wasn't included, but return on Sat was. I also had a Coke Rewards code to use. Outgoing flight was listed at $92, return went from $89 down to $49 with the sale. Unfortunately, when I went to book Tuesday night, there was only 1 seat available on Sun @ 92. So I booked 2 reservations: mine @ $92/49 plus $20 off with Coke Rewards code. DH $121 down/ $49 back. For the heck of it, I checked again last night & there was the $92 listed again for flight down. Thought I'd rebook DH & get a $29 credit. Well, apparently I was still in the 24 hour government mandated cancellation period, because I got a $29 refund!!!

Wish SW would have had the 2 seats listed on Tuesday, if I had booked them together I would have gotten an additional $20 off DH's ticket with the Coke Rewards. But I am very happy to have gotten a refund instead of a credit! :goodvibes

This is one crappy sale. Travel to Florida is only for Sunday to Wednesday. Travel from Florida is Tuesday thru Friday. :sad2: And even when I use those days of the week, those sale fares don't show up. No wonder they were sued.

Nice, getting $48 credit/person back on our Orlando flights and another $26 back for me for my trip to Portland in October. My husband may not end up using his credit before it expires, but that's what I get for being impatient and booking flights early because I always worry about not getting the times I want.

the sale prices were actually $15 more than the lowest I've see (last week mid-week) for out RT Connecticut to Memphis. The flight I wanted coming back was high though, even last week, about $50 higher than all other flights that day. This flight was included in the sale so for very little more than I had hoped to pay, I got the better flight time. I booked the returning flight & crossing my fingers for a return to the lower fares for my outbound. Oh the games we must play!!!!

Just booked return flight from MCO to PHL on a Thursday night in October for $99/person. :cool1: Very happy! Now, I just have to find a good price flying to MCO on a Saturday morning.

I'm the opposite got $99 flight from Pittsburgh to MCO but I'm waiting/hoping for better price/times back on a friday. I really don't want to head back to the airport at 3 am on ME after doing MVMCP ;)

Yup. I agree. Ever since the Air Tran merger their "sales" have gone downhill.

Got my return flight for $99 (on a Tuesday). I bought my departure flight the day flights were released because we needed the specific flight time (on a Friday AM). I bought for $141, when the sale started it was $253, today it's $151. I'd love for it to go cheaper and get a credit, but I'm not holding my breath. The $99 return flight was exciting enough.

Round trip for 4 is $893 in mid December. My round trip this past October was $1247.

I just randomly checked Southwest again tonight and our flight went down a little bit more. I got a bit over 600 points back and my daughter got a little over 800. You may want to check yours again!

I bought my DDs ticket back to college on a Saturday in August yesterday, even though the trip wasn't included in the sale. Checked today and the one way price went from $180 to $292 overnight. I will never understand airline pricing. My December PIT-MCO flights are still $135, so that didn't change. Flying down on a Thursday and home on Monday, we did not fall into the cheapest days.

Yaaaaa! Got the outbound for $140 each today. Will continue to look for price drops but I 'm happy.

For the past several years I have yet to see PHX-MCO listed on any of Southwest's specials no matter the time of year. Always rather high priced.

DING specials also seem to be extremely rare. I used to get a few DING's every day and almost always could get a good DING fare for anywhere wanted to go if I was flexible and just kept checking. The past year there have been a total of 2 DING's from PHX to anywhere else.

Seems like SW isn't the place to go for good deals, at least not from PHX!
