South Beach Diet Cookbook

Hi,

I haven't been around much lately and I hope I didn't miss this
message.

Has anyone purchased the South Beach Diet Cookbook yet?

If yes, did you get it at a discount store like Sam's or BJ's?
Was it cheaper than at the bookstores?

Have you tried any new receipes and were they good or maybe
great?

I haven't seen the book yet, but it sure is getting alot of advance publicity. The NY Times had a big article in the Wed. food section which included a recipe developed for SB by Bobby Flay. The recipe really didn't appeal to me, but I'll admit that I'm not a big Bobby Flay fan, back from his days on the Food Netwrok w/ "Grillin n Chillin".
Then last night, Deb Norville was interviewing Dr. A. I really like hearing him speak, he's so "not-impressed-with-himself". There was a plug for the new cookbook.
Even with the original SB book, I always liked how they went to good restaurants and had their chefs develop SB friendly dishes. Although I'm in Phase 3, I'll probably buy SB Cookbook. It's worth it even if you only get a few good meal ideas from it.
