Do you beleive that there is onlly one other person inn the world who could be your perfect match?? My friend thinks so, but it seems relle unlikely 2 me.:confused3

what do you guys think?

i believe in it.
but i dont believe it has to be a lover.
it could be a best friend or another family member.

i have a friend that i call my "lao tong" which in chinese means "old sames". my friend believes in past lives, so do i, and she has a whole theory on why you have soul mates.

a soul mate is someone that has the same soul as you, the end to your red ribbon, the other half of the apple. its been called a lot of things and a lot of religions believe in it.

some people dont believe in it because it sounds too much like a fairy tale or an old spoof. even if it is, isnt it funner to think that theres someone somewhere?

Well, I believe in past lives too. I also believe that there HAS to be that perfect someone out there.

I believe in Soul Mates.
I honestly believe there is someone out there in the big wide world who is my perfect match. Be it lover or a friend.
It would be amazing if I actually found them one day.
:goodvibes

I would comment further, but it would be religious and thats not allowed anymore.

I believe that there is one perfect match for each person.

I was just watching Just Like Heaven, where his wife died two years before he me Lizzy, he fell in love with her too, and she loved him. It is so hard to say that one person is out there for you in that situation. I mean he found the love of his life, but then he found another.

Maybe they were both his soul mates. I do know that there is someone out there for everyone. It just takes awhile to weed out the wrong ones:rotfl:

i most definitely believe that there is one person you're destined to spend your life with.

Of course you do you already have someone wonderful. I wonder how it changes based on if you are in a relationship or not.

No, I don't believe there is ONLY one person out there for you.
I also believe there is no perfect match either. You might find someone that has most of the things that you are looking for but not everything.

I think that it's a nice thing to believe in, but I don't really believe in it.

I think that you are more compatible for some than others, but I don't think that there is ONE person out there just perfect for you.

ITA.

I think there are many many people who you are very compatible with, but not soul mates.

I belive it but I belive the chances of finding your soulmate is very unlikely. I think there is one person out there for everyone but not everyone will find that person

Make sense:confused3

it makes sense.
and its sad that some people will never find that one person.
or perhaps they already have and they havent realized it yet?

I also belive everyone will meet their soulmate but they might not reconize them, which is very sad. I also belive its possible to live a happy life with someone thats not your soulmate:)

I agree with Dollfie (and, really, I am in awe that I still don't know your name...*shameface*).

I believe that your soulmate doesn't have to be the person you marry.

For me, I'm pretty sure my best friend Erica is my soul mate. We're the stereotypical type of "BFFs". When we're together, it's not like being with anybody else (except maybe John...John comes close).

And, as for John, I'd consider him the Yang to my Yin. He's my balance. And I mean this literally. He's a conservative republican and I'm a liberal democrat. There's a whole slew of things we know we don't and will never agree on, but we still stick together.

Nah.... if there is a soul mate I think it's as unlikely to come across them as it is to come across your supposed look-alike (and no - twins don't count).
