We are staying at the Dream Castle Hotel which is off site, (8min Shuttle ride)

We arrive in DLP by Eurostar at 12:27 and we have got the Disney Express Service for Arrival and going back.

I was wondering if it is possible to get off the Eurostar and go straight to the park as we will have someone taking our luggage to the Dream Castle Hotel.

OR:

Do we have to go to the hotel to check in first or can we leave it until later...

(We have booked with Thomas Cook Direct and i am not sure if they post the park tickets with our other tickets or we will have to go to the Hotel to collect our park tickets anyway)

Is there another place we can collect our park tickets other than our hotel??

Thanks everyone :goodvibes

Yes with disney express i believe you get you tickets before you get on the train (not sure if this is the same with thomas cook, but at ashford ppl with disney express seem to have their tickets) and you bags are taken to the hotel while you go off to enjoy the park, i think your bags are taken to the hotels luggage store and you just pick them up when you get back to the hotel.

I to have booked with thomas cook and am going next next wednesday,we received last week our pack with eurostar tickets it says you get the park tickets on the train to go straight into the park and check in to hotel later.

Thanks Lee ;)
Thats good news then, will be nice to just hop off the Eurostar and get started in the park while our luggage gets taken to our hotel :rotfl:
CANT WAIT
Have a lovely time at DLP next week :goodvibes

Just agreeing with the others... If you booked Disney Express you will definitely have your park tickets before you get off the Eurostar. Either before you get on or during the journey, you will be given your tickets.

Congrats on taking your first trip to DLP, you will absolutely love it. Tell us more if you have time. Who are you going with? Is it the first time for all of you? What are you looking forward to most?

it is my and wifes first time as well cant wait we are going with our son 10 yrs daughter 4 and son 1 year old.

 Hi Disney D

We are going for 5days in November, the start of the Xmas season (10th)
Staying at the Dream Castle Hotel.
I am going with my husband and daughter who will turning 3yrs old 17th Nov, so we shall be celebrating her Birthday there.

We will book a table at CAFE MICKEY and order her a Birthday Cake
We will take some Mickey Mouse Party Hats, Mickey Mouse blowers, Party table cloth. We are hoping the waitors will be able to put it on our table for our daughter, before we arrive. :woohoo: She shall wear her Minnie Mouse dress up costume for her Birthday Dinner :thumbsup2
We have asked the Dream Castle for a birthday package which includes ballons in our room a birthday card and a Disney present for my little one.
We shall take be taking a few presents wrapped up for her to put in the room (Disney presents, princess dolls etc...)
She will be taking her Birthday Money with her to spend in the Disney Shop.
(So hopefully she will have a FAB time celebrating her Birthday at DLP)

We have booked the Buffolo Bills Wild West Show and also booked the Character tea at the Plaza Gardens Restaurant. (thought it would be nice to have cakes and pastries with the Characters) :yay:

We plan to eat at these resturants during our stay:

LUNCH:
Buzz Lightyear's Pizza Planet
Pizzeria Bella Notte
Cafe Hyperion
Coolpost Diner

DINNER:

Cafe Mickey (Birthday meal)
Annetes Diner
Rainforest Cafe
Planet Hollywood
Billy Bob's Saloon

We shall visit the SeaLife Centre during our visit as we have had free tickets included in our booking, while we are there we shall have a look around the La Vallée Village shops etc....
And we are hoping to visit Paris one evening after dinner to go on the Eiffle Tower and a little walk around that area... (if we have time)

Thats our plans and i cant wait, we are very excited about the whole trip, we are also looking forward to meeting Characters, seeing Santa, the snow falls during parades.
oooh and of course looking forward to seeing the parades and Mickeys Winter Wonderland Christmas Show.

:jumping1:

Sounds wonderfull - i'm sure ur DD will have a lovely birthday- you'll just have to top that every year lol

Your daughter is a very lucky little girl :cutie: , I think she will remember her 3rd birthday for ever.... you'll have trouble topping it next year though ;)

Christmas season is a good time to go, I love the feel of the place when it's all christmassy and festive.

I found the sealife centre a bit dissapointing but maybe that's because I've been to bigger and better sealife places than that. It's OK considering it's just a little place in the shopping centre. Anyway, I'm glad your tickets were free.... so I guess it's worth a visit. Who knows, you might even think it's amazing and I'm sure your daughter will marvel at the different sealife. Now I'm worried that I've put you off, sorry. It's not a big deal anyway as it's such a tiny part of your trip. Disneyland will more than make up for any dissapointment you might have with anything.

You will love TEA TIME at Plaza gardens, we always do this on our last day in the park and it's excellent value for money. There are always lots of Birthdays there too.

Keep us updated with your plans.

Will definately keep you updated, will look forward to doing my 1st trip report when i come back :thumbsup2
Dont worry you havnt put me off about the Sealife Centre, i have read alot of disappointing reviews about it but i will give it a whirl as the tickets were FREE :rotfl: :rotfl: i wont be disappointed if its not very good as i havnt paid for the tickets :rotfl: we are planning to have a very quick look around, not really take our time as there will be loads to do at DLP itself!
We might not even have time to go, will have to wait and see how it goes.
We are staying 5 days so should be plenty of time to fit everything we want to do in :yay:
One thing i am disappointed about is AFTER i booked our trip i discovered that we will probably miss the Fantillision Parade :sad2: as last year during November this parade was only shown Fri, sat & Sunday, we will be leaving to go on the Eurostar Friday at around 5:30pm so will more likely miss the parade.
However we may be lucky if DLP decides to do different showings of the Fantillision Parade this year and NOT keep it the same as last year, but who knows :confused3
I have phoned up to ask how much it would cost to add a extra night at our hotel, so we dont have to rush to the Eurostar Friday evening and then we caan catch the parade and get the Eurostar on the Saturday evening instead, leaving Saturday daytime free to go ot Sealife Centre trip or Paris, they havnt got back to me yet so will probably get onto them soon for a quote.
Will let you know what happens.
Your right about what i can do the year after for my daughters birthday  i have no idea :rotfl: :rotfl: oh well will deal with it when the time comes ;)

That sounds a great birthday treat :goodvibes . Just one warning, we went to Pizza Planet last Feb and we were not impressed :sad2: . There were four of us and not one ate their meal and we also felt the place itself was a bit on the dirty side. I have not heard any other comlaints so it may just have been an off day. If you do go there I hope you have a better experience than we did.

Another warning about the pizza Planet is that its sadly hardly ever open now days. But you may get lucky, it serves some tasty Pizza Burgers.
