I hope you all do not get tired of all of my BE questions. I am really learning to use it. I do love it!!!! We leave for WDW on Saturday. I will be able to use my BE. I am seriously considering buying the eyeshadow because I have heard from friends and read online that it really stays on a long time and that a little of it goes a long way. Right now I only use the foundation, mineral veil, warmth and blush. I am considering buying the "Meet the Browns" kit because I normally wear brown/neutral eyeshadow. Can anyone tell me more about the eyeshadows? What do you use? What do you like? I know that someone here mentioned that you wear it wet and dry. I really don't know what eyeshadow brush to buy. BE has several eyeshadow brushes. I don't want to spend all of that money. I really want to be able to buy and use just one brush. What do you suggest?
Right now I use L'Oreal eyeshadow with one of those little wand applicator things. You know, the little one that comes in the packed eyeshadow compact. I don't have a loose eyeshadow brush. I just want my makeup to stay on for this hot, humid WDW trip.
I would love to read all of your suggestions.

Well, I don't use BE eyeshadow; however an eyeshadow base works very well in keeping eyeshadow fresh all day. Also, your eyeshadow will go on easier and look much better. I use Lancome's but there are probably other brands out there that work just as well. I can put my eyeshadow on in the morning and by the end of the day it looks as if it was just applied.

I can't use BE eyeshadows! I can use everything else but the eyeshadow is irritating to me (I also can't use Clinique eyeshadows, however, I can use Clinique's base that is WONDERFUL--"touchbase")
I CAN use BE's glimmers and glimpses though. Weird, I know. I have no idea what the deal is.
My favorite is called "Bare Skin" and it can be used wet or dry and if I apply eyeshadow at WDW it is always Bare Skin. One pot, one brush. It does last a long time. I have had the same pot for probably 4 or 5 years! Am just about out. Nice thing about BE compared to a compact eyeshadow is it stays fresh and doesn;t get old and harden and crack like some eyeshadows in compacts. I think a BE eye color is about $12-14 so it is truly worth the $$.

Good luck. BE makes a lot fo pretty colors to choose from.

Hum. I haven't ever heard of this. Is it a lotion? Do you put it on after foundation, before the eyeshadow? If so, does it affect the look of your foundation?
Thanks.

What one brush do you use?
Also, is the shimmer in the glimpses very noticeable?

I thought you were asking about barium enemas. I'm pleased to find out you aren't.

There is a bit of a sparkle but not too much. I am too old for sparkly! :rotfl:

I have several BE brushes that came with kits. I like the angled one. However, I have a Lauren Hutton brush kit from HSN that I love the best!

Does anyone use BE Rever Upper? I saw this last time I was at Sephora and thought about buying it. Any product reviews?

Yes, I am pleased that I am not asking about that also.

No, it is a thick cream that you put directly on your eyelid in place of the foundation, then the eyeshadow on top of that. You use less eyeshadow because it has a tacky consistency and 'grabs' the eyeshadow.

Thank you. I will have to look into trying this. Honestly, I had never heard of it before this thread. Thank you so much for sharing the news!

I was going to go look up the other thread today but since this one is here...

I got a shipment of BE yesterday and they threw in a free baby buki brush. What do you guys use this brush for? I love the full size buki for putting on the foundation, but this is a teeny tiny brush. Is it for blush, or spot applications? Do people use this little brush to put on foundation? I have to use the big buki for that, because it's the fastest, and every minute counts in the morning!

Re: an earlier question, I use the wet/dry eyeshadow brush to apply the BE eyeshadows...

I am sorry that I cannot answer your question about the baby buki brush. I don't have that one. I just have the full size for foundation.

What eyeshadows do you use? Are you happy with them? Do you just wear them dry? Or do you use them wet? You can use this one brush to apply all of the eyeshadows?
