First off, Mary Ellen- congrats on the new job. I hope all is going along as expected. July 1 start still?

I think I left off just before Cynthia was entering Bear territory. I can honestly say that your pictures from the show are the best I have seen in a long time. Were there many people in the theatre? I think I last saw the bears with the boys back in 2004, but like you, it is a nostalgic attraction from visits of long ago.

The final pictures of you as you are leaving MK are awesome!!! So nice of the pumpkins to coordinate with what you were wearing.

It was nice of those pumpkins to cooperate with her, wasn't it? I do love those pictures. I think they are great.

Your PP pictures during your run really did come out great. It is fun to have some pictures that are a little different from the usual. I have a couple of pictures of me as a drowned rat during the class trip and it really captured the spirit of that night (and trip)

Yeah - those pictures certainly are different, aren't they? I don't think I'll be posing for a PP photographer again in my running clothes.

I remember your drowned rat pictures. They were pretty unique, too and I give you props for taking those pictures!

Spaceship Earth is always a great time. We spend a lot of time (at our 11 year old son's insistence) rating EVERYTHING at Disney World- rides, restaurants, snacks, lands- and I think SSE tops everything else in EPCOT for me. My favorite experience in my favorite park.

Spaceship Earth is just so perfect in so many ways. It's got that educational vibe, its got that sense of anticipation, and it really captures some important moments in the history of mankind. Love it.

Now that they have the "Choose your Future" experience, the kids think it is a blast too. Your future pictures are great.

I remember reading about your DVC saga in your current TR (you signed your contract in CA?) How exciting to go back in December. In a 2 Bedroom! Emmy and I will be at BWI in December as well, just earlier in the month - our first holiday trip to WDW!

I would love to stay there in a 2BR. I home you and Emmy love it there. I think its such an awesome resort. Right now I rank it as my #1 DVC resort and every day I say a little prayer hoping that my October waitlist comes through. It's such a great place.

It is good to have a favorite airport bar/snack place. Speaking as a guac lover I may need to check out your place. (And the name is...? ) I need to pick a new favorite because Cinnabon isn't exactly health food and the amount of running I have to do to get over the guilt doesn't exactly work for me!

I'm not sure where it is either because I usually fly out of the opposite terminal (A I think) and Cynthia flies from B. Or is it the opposite? Who knows. But that guac looks good.

Although all good things appear to come to an end.. better things are in the wings to take their place. So with that I wish you a ton of fun in Hawaii!!!

I have been following a TR and Hawaii looks absolutely amazing! I'm sure she will have a fabulous time!

Periodic Table of Pirates - Everybody likes that ride and it has humor that takes a little bit of thinking. It seems like that type of thing would actually fit both E's. I almost put this for Evan, but there seemed to be a glut of humorous shirts.

I'm always amazed at those security lines in Orlando's airport. There has to be a better way.

No, not many people at all! Thank you on the pictures, I deleted a LOT of blurry ones and many of these aren't all that clear and the colors aren't quite right either. Oh well. If I knew what I was doing it would help immensely.

I am very excited to stay there for NYE. A bit worried about boardwalk noise, Jeff's supersonic hearing and balcony size but I've done all I can at this point. If Jeff had his way we'd be there the whole trip, whereas the boys would be at THV. Trying to make everyone happy. Earlier in Dec would be lovely for crowds. Darn kids and school schedules anyway!

Yep, it is On the Border. I first went there after the last girls trip, then we got takeout in August and now again this trip. every time.

On the Border is in the terminal that Alaska flies out of, right next to the Starbucks. The pasta was some kind of mushroom thing...either with pork or chicken. Funny thing is Jeff had a work trip back in April and had the same thing. He thought it was yummy too! I do love their fruit and cheese plate (can't go wrong with Beechers and Tilamook!) but preferred some of the older picnic packs to what they have now.

As for the tees for the boys. I would be totally guessing. However, in looking through your pics again I have to tell you i was amazed. I guess I never realized just HOW MANY shirts there are in WDW!!!

Yes, you and I always seem to share the pre-vacation drama, don't we?

Between the Scout Treasurer who sent an email to the entire troop on Tuesday, demanding payment for an event (one I'd had no prior notification of other than there would be a signup), without bothering to note whether my child or any other child for that matter had in fact signed up or what the amount due was...but wanted payment the next day at a leaders meeting that well...only leaders go to (I am not one, nor do I intend to be) with the statement that failure to pay would indicate that the scout was not interested in attending or had changed their mind (um, they are 12..11 in some cases, some of them...they have the attention span of a flea...failure to pay is um...failure to remember to notify and a demand is not exactly what I'd call a backup system of communication...) and then I made the mistake of saying this really wasn't sufficient notice and....

To a co worker who gave me a "over my dead body" response to my request to see (and format, edit if needed) his presentation prior to him giving it, which um...is my job and a company standard and...he doesn't get that choice Dude if you want me to market and sell your services, which is my job, that is NOT the way to go about it...you are smart, potentially really really smart but guess what, everyone at the company is and many are far more published with greater credentials and more at stake than you and they trust me so...

To a higher up meeting about how to market said prima donna who, bless him, really does know his stuff (not that he verbalizes it well) but has irritated a few folks and now I've got internal and external fences to mend on top of holding his hand and convincing him I am a resource, not the enemy who wants to steal his work product...

Oh AND get this...trying to get out one of those blasted emails out that seem to precede every trip.. you know the kind I kept trying to work on over the summer trip and the html changes that weren't "taking" on my end but it was really my boss who wasn't sending me changes he thought he had? Hard to address edits you've never seen...for this one he keeps adding items to what he wants in the email. Which means my chances for hitting "send" before I leave are decreasing by the minute, especially if content has to be created from scratch.

AND...the fact that Mothers Day is looking to be a bit of a bust no matter how I shake a stick at it and I'm being a total cranky baby about it... and I shouldn't. It isn't that bad. I really am being a brat and I have got to get over it.
