I said it on FB and I'll say it again here. I had tears rolling down my cheeks watching your beautiful tribute to Tracy. I never had the opportunity to meet her in person, but I felt blessed to count her among my DIS and FB friends. Thank you for doing such a lovely job, MEK.

nice ride on dumbo, great for riding it, i think it is something you need to ride even if you are old and with no kids, great timeless attraction.

I totally agree - that ride is definitely for everyone because its so nostalgic. I had only ridden the older one once before, but as soon as I did I loved it!

i agree seemed some stuff was brand spankin new, others was worn and worn out, needed refurbed and replaced.

I didn't even notice that, but perhaps the imagineers thought that gave it character.

Now you can never take too many pictures of anything at Disney.....At least that's my theory.

I love the pumpkin decor. I am just starting to edit mine too today. I wish it was that warm today too.

I would love some nice warm Florida weather right now. I think I need a January vacation next year - it might help get me over the winter hump.

I have never been on Dumbo, nor have my kids! Not sure about my DH. He had one trip without me when he was in his early teens, but I doubt he and his brothers rode, so I think we are a Dumbo-less family!

Well, I was Dumbo-less until a few years ago as well. The first I took my kids they were already going into 2 and 4th grade and had no desire to ride Dumbo. We just always skipped it. Finally rode during a Halloween party several years ago.

I totally don't mind seeing the same pictures from both of you!

That is SO cool. I do like meeting people better when I have actually seen their picture a time or two. It does continue to shock me how easy it is to then recognize them. Have a fun DIS meet!

I am loving all the pics of the fall decorations! And dumbo, because its so pretty.

Aren't the fall decorations the best? I know you always go in September. I think they are even better then because you aren't really expecting them.

Me too! I always get the statues and it was nice that it wasn't that crowded yet.

Cynthia, love your update. I do adore those Halloween Statutes...they are part of my favorite part of the Halloween decorations. What a wonderful story about Dumbo. As we all know, my hubby loves Dumbo and it is one of the first things we do when we arrive at the MK. You really need to remedy the situation with the boys and get themon it on your next trip.

I love Cynthia's Dumbo story! It's great. I always forget that Mark is such a big Dumbo addict. I think that's so awesome. I love how the rides are at Disney world are not only for the young, but the young at heart.

Firstly, I'm am so sorry for the loss of your friend. Going through your lovely tribute had me crying and I didn't know her at all. What a blessing you were touched by her beautiful spirit.

I really boned with Tracy and all the ladies from our girls trip. I just think there is something unique about the bond that Disney fans form. I think you know on some basic level that the other person "gets it" and when you "get it" it spreads to other areas of your life.

I hope you see the tribute video I just posted.

Loving all your photos of course. The WL looks great. I booked one night pre cruise in March and that will definitely not be enough. The plan for a while now has been to spend December 2013 there if I can get in.

Yeah - one night will definitely not be enough, but it you just hang at the resort you will get the vibe. Let me also recommend Artist Point. It's really an awesome restaurant.

Last year I was able to get December right before the 7th month booking window (because that's when my points came through). However, when I called to try to change my reservation 10 tens later - gone. So I think you have a shot right at 7 months and you can always wait list.

I will try to keep up from now on. Great work ladies!

Just finally was able to get all caught up! I'm really loving this TR, especially seeing how each of you experienced things. Mary Ellen, your photos of Dumbo are fantastic, as always! I really like how in addition to moving the ride and doubling it, they added a lot of really awesome Disney touches to it.

Thanks! We were really blessed to have gotten to see her one last time in October. She really had an amazing trip and was in reasonably good health during her stay!
