So this morning is our 180 day mark and the annual "sorry for the paws" message has already started popping up 5 minutes into booking my reservations this morning. For about 10 years, I can't remember one time when this hasn't been an issue while trying to booking dining reservations. Anyone else having the same problem?

Then you've been lucky up until now. Disney is notorious for their tech issues. I hope it resolves soon so you can get what you want.
 
I was successful making my reservations this morning, but I did have several issues throughout the process, like many have had. It's so frustrating.
 
I have this same problem this morning! This is our sixth year going and I’ve never had so much trouble reserving dining as I have had this morning. I ended up having to call and do all of them over the phone just like “the old days”...... now I can’t modify or change any of them. Pretty much have what we want, however just saw a BOG lunch for the 16th and I can’t book it, not sure if it’s worth it to call again......
 
Anyone else getting the dreaded "sorry for the paws" message when trying to book dining?
Have been having this issue over and over again since my 180 day window this past Friday morning. Am curious if this is just me.

I went through this last week. Had to book on the phone. PITA.

I have a split stay (check out and check in on the same day, though, so contiguous). I had no issues with reserving for the first res., but when the 180 came up for the second- could not book. App or webpage (phone and computer).

All the CM said is that they were having some issues. She was able to book for me. I can’t change anything. Oh well.

I’m nervous this is going to cause issues for FP reservations. If I have to call for those I’d say my chances for FOP are very low.

You can’t call to book FP. They can only be booked online. I was having issues with MDE as well and found that using an ingignito page on my Chrome browser fixed the problem.

Thanks for the tip, but I just tried incognito and I still can’t reserve dining for my trip. I keep getting the paws after selecting the time.

Hopefully, if I can’t book FP a CM can help. I have had a CM reschedule FP when there was an event issue that impacted them. I also just read a post where someone couldn’t make them past 7 days with an AP, but they were staying onsite for longer, so they called and a CM made them over the phone.

So weird! Glad to hear calling is an option for you. I was told it wasn’t possible to book FP via phone. Hopefully you don’t have to call! Dining and FP use different windows so just because you have trouble with dining doesn't necessarily mean you’ll have issues with FP. Good luck!

Thanks, I hope so! As the saying goes, don’t borrow trouble and all that. I have a looong time to go and, like you say FP is a different animal... :)
 
Hi! First time poster and my trip is a little closer (84 days!!)! I wanted to mention that I'm having the same problem, though I was able to use the app to book most of my reservations. The only one I had issues with was the Tea Room at the Grand Floridian. I linked my reservation to another in my party and they were able to make reservations with their own account on our reservation no problem via regular browser, same device and everything. :confused3 Still annoying but at least it's taken care of.
 
I called in as well to book my dining, asked to be transfer to the IT helpdesk and was to ok d that the website has been glitchy and they're on it. Same thing I was told on Friday. As of 5 minutes ago, I'm still getting the same message. Why can't disney get this right? In 10 years of booking, this is an issue for me every year at the 180 mark. Tends to go away though a week or two later. I wonder if this is done by design to limit website traffic and avoid system crashes with everyone trying to book resies at the same time.
 
I couldn't get anything this morning. Had limited success using the app instead except I couldn't' figure out how to do dining packages through it. Phone worked fine, I was all set in 5 minutes with the rep except for BoG, but at least I got something even if it wasn't ideal. I went back and spot checked a few things tonight that I wanted to move a half hour either way but still nothing is working through the website and it's too late to call.
 
"Sorry for the Paws" has been happening for me for the last half hour since 6am, my 180 day mark is right now. Pretty anticlimactic with all the buildup/anticipation for booking right at 180 days to just get an error message on their website

Guess I got lucky. Had no problem with the computer for our 180 day ARDs and no glitches on Saturday when I did fastpasses.
I see the " Sorry for the Paws" or similarmore frequently on the DVC site than the MDE site.
Still frustrating whenever it happens.
