Just got back from BWV and was wondering how much everyone tips each time you get your car valet parked?

Another question--do the bellhops and valet guys pool their tips or do they keep what they make? It seems like all I am doing is tipping these guys all week. I tip when they unload my car, then I gotta tip again when a different guy brings it to my room. That's why I was wondering if they pool their tips and then split them up.

Thanks for your input

We tip $2 on drop-off and $2 on pick-up of the car, more if the valet unloads the trunk to a luggage cart for transfer to the room.

a buck is fine for handing me my keys ...unloading the car 3-6 bucks

I tip $2 at both ends of the valet service and $5-6 for the guy that unloads the car. For the guy that brings the bags to the room, $1- 2 dollars a bag.

Count us in with the $2 on both ends of valet parking, $5 or $6 to unload the car unless we have an over abundance of stuff and then $1 per bag for the CM that delivers the luggage to our room.
I have read posts regarding only tipping at pick up for valet and only tipping at drop off of luggage in the room, but I feel if I have different people doing different things at different times with my car or luggage they are entitled to a tip. I have been told WDW CMs do not pool tips for valet and luggage services but then I have read where others have been told something different, so who knows??? I tip the same way at all resorts whether they are in WDW or not and I have never had a problem nor felt we were tipping inappropriately. To me the tips for valet parking and luggage services are part of receiving a service provided for you and are really not much money in the whole scheme of vacation expenses. To me, the service and convenience provided is worth every penny.

I highly doubt they pool their tips. There wodul be no way to kep up with what everyoen received. What if soem put in all their tip money, others kept a few bucks here and there. Nope, no pooling.

I was actually irriated last trip when I had a guy unload my car at AKL, take it to storage and then another guy coem out with my bags all in the course of mere mintues. I already had my room number and stood at the counter waiting. It was the silliest thing i ever saw! Course, two peopel got to be tipped.
