sorry another chef mickey ??

i was on the phone yesterday making a ps for chef mickeys for a party of 11 and she told me that graduity (sp) was included,can someone tell me what this means?
i asked the CM to note it was a childs birthday and she told me that i could order a birthday cake,would we need to do this seeing as the birthday child gets a cup cake anyway? oh and how is chef mickeys for celebrating a birthday

I can't answer about the cake or about having birthday parties there but most restaurants add the tip for parties of 8 or more.

It just means the tip (15% I would think) will be added to your bill. So don't accidently add any more tip.

We celebrated my ds's 3rd and 5th birthdays at Chef Mickey's. He loved it the first time and requested that his 5th birthday be at that restaurant when he found out that we would again be at Disney World for his 5th birthday. They have a little birthday celebration every so often, and the characters dance in each area and then present the birthday cupcake.

We did not order a birthday cake, because they do bring a cupcake to the birthday child, and there is so much other food and many desserts on the buffet that we didn't feel anyone else needed cake. Also, we've always found the cupcakes not particularly good and are afraid that the cake will be the same.

beth,this is what i was thinking about ordering the 'extra' cake

i think we will stick with just the cup cake i would hate to pay out for a birthday cake and then have the kids not to like it, kids can be so pickey these days
