Dh finally has mentioned the words ADD-ON . I know this has been asked & told many times but it never pertained to me so I just skipped it . Now when I search it starts out with a 2004 date, etc.

So, how much is right now to add on. We have 180 pts @ SSR and are considering adding on 100 more. I know DVC bases the $ per point on how many points buying.

We haven't decided yet if we should go resale or thru DVC, there are a ton of resales. We have seen few contracts around $80/pt., but no points until next year. I don't want a stripped contract.

There is another not stripped for $86/pt but can't close until 8/3/07. I'm assuming the sellers have a trip planned around that time - maybe? Then I know we need to add in closing cost and so forth.

Going straight thru DVC we could get it done pretty fast, not worry with ROFR, or closing cost.

AKV = $101 pp - $8 incentive = $93 with minimum purchase of 100 pts.
SSR = $101 pp - $10 incentive = $91 with minimum purchase of 50 pts.

OKW = $92
HHI = $92 - $5 incentive = $87 with minimum purchase of 50 pts.
VB = $92 - $5 incentive = $87 with minimum purchase of 50 pts.
BWV = $95
VWL = $95
BCV = $95


For new purchases (minimum purchase of 160 pts.)

AKV = $104 - $8 incentive = $96
SSR = $104 - $10 incentive = $94

OKW, HH and VB = $92
BWV = $98
VWL = $98
BCV = $101

Minimum purchase is 25 points for all current members. At BCV, BWV, VWL there is no discounted pricing, so 25 is the minimum. At OKW, VB, HH and SSR the minimum is also 25 points but higher if you want the discounted rate.

As you probably know everything is negotiable on resale. That is you do not HAVE to pay closing costs, could ask seller to pay especially if you give them near asking price.
