Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom Question re: multiple MB

We started playing Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom on our most recent trip and the CM told us something that doesn't seem quite right to me...I would like someone to clarify for me, please.

He told us that the SOTHMK game is linked to our MB NOT the MDE app. He said that if we brought our other MB (from a different trip) with us, that the current game we are playing would not be linked to that other band, that we would have to start a separate game. True, false, other?? We each have 3 bands, and I was planning to wear different bands on different days., but if it's going to mess up our game, my DH and DS are not going to like that.

I heard that and thought UGH. My husband and son heard that and thought "WOW! If we bring our extra MB with us, we can start extra games and get multiple sets of cards each day". Are my game loving people right? Sigh.

If you try to explain it to me, please use very small words. I really am not making any sense of this whole thing yet.

We were there for the party Friday night, got our exclusive card, and our pack of 5 cards.

When I scanned my MB, there was no game on file.

This was the second MB I had from our split stay trip and I know that I was wearing the other one back in January on our last trip.

So, yes, somehow, individual bands are linked to individual games.

I would suspect that you could come back later in the day with a different band and get another pack of cards that way, too, but haven't tested that theory.

I know game is linked to a certain band which ticks me off as I change colors w the wind. I wonder if I could just use ap card to carry game
