Sorcerer’s Pass Activation

Hi everyone. I’m posting this to see if anyone has any ideas or experience with this.

My wife and son are arriving tomorrow in Orlando for a volleyball tournament that starts on Friday afternoon. She has a sorcerer’s pass that was activated in April and my 14 year old son needs his activated. They want to go to the parks tomorrow and maybe during off/free time. My question is will they let my son into the parks tomorrow.

Here are the facts:
1. I am the only one on the DVC deed.
2. I purchased the pass for him last month.

I have spoken to three different CMs who have each given me a different answer. My concern is whether or not he’s going to have any issues having this pass activated since I am still going to be in Chicago. I arrive on Sunday. The first CM said it wouldn’t be a problem. The second said it wouldn’t work at all because I have to be there. The last CM I just spoke to said that it would be up to the discretion of the manager in the office when they get to MK. They are not staying on property and would have to Uber back-and-forth. Trying to prevent them from wasting time and money.

Did you buy his pass on the website or over the phone? When I did ours over the phone (our first ever APs) they must have activated them at that time because we walked right into the park without an issue the first time we used them.

It shouldn't be a problem. Assuming you purchased a Sorcerer Pass for him as well. Check whichever MDE account he's listed on and verify that his Pass shows up there. If it does, he's good. They don't ask for ID for minors, so there's no reason he'd need to go to GS.
