Soothsayers, Planners, Predicters...If you were to trying to guess for 2015...

OK...So DS LOVES villains. This will be our 3rd year gong to MNSSHP, but it would be nice to enjoy another Villainous event. This year we had Fri. 13th celebration with villains at DHS and now Rock your Disney Side. Didn't get to either.

So....we have APs to be activated when we go Aug. For 2014 we have our August and then Sept. (for MNSSHP) trips this year. Thinking ahead to 2015 and making best use of APs we want to plan 2 other trips before it expires...one will be in Aug and the other....

Looking at 2015 calendar there are 3 Friday the 13ths (Feb, March & Nov.) The one in Feb. happens to be the Friday before Presidents week. And then of course we have Memorial Day weekend..

So do you think there's any chance of another Fri 13th bash and / or 24 hr event? If so which Fri the 13th and do you think Memorial Day weekend again?

We were first thinking of arriving Tues or Wed. before Memorial day and leaving on Memorial day next year...and if we do that we hopefully will be there for 24 hr event and maybe get to see us some villains.

Feb. 13 can work as well - especially since DS will be off from school following week.

So what do you think? If you were to guess and plan on a possibility which would you choose...We will be using friends DVC points so we want to book rooms exactly at 7 month mark and since we fly down I find I get better rates if I can book earlier - so waiting for Disney to announce these events will not work.

I'm not overly concerned about crowds as we've been to Disney twice a year for past 3 years and this trip will be hoping for a specific event AND we will have the Aug. trip which tends to have lighter crowds.

So just curious...what do your Disney senses tell you...when would you book your trip in hopes of being there for a special event that may have villains???

My senses tell me not to book until they make an announcement.

An alternate scheme would be to book the first Fri. 13th and wait for an announcement.
If they don't announce an event for that date, cancel and move the booking to the next Fri. 13, etc.
