Soothing sounds

The wind is blowing outside and I can hear the several sets of windchimes singing away out there.
I'm finding that I really like how they sound.....and that they're very soothing.

When we got them given to us as gifts, I THOUGHT they'd drive me crazy but I was soooo wrong about that! *happy sigh*

What are the sounds that calm your soul?

I love the sound of windchimes, too. My favorite soothing sound is rain--especially at night when I'm in bed. I also love the sound of the ocean. We just got back from a cruise and I loved sitting on our balcony at night just listening to the waves.

This sounds silly, but I love the sound our one dog makes when she's snoring. When she sleeps, she's out like a light and she has this cute little snuffle-snore.

I love the sound of rain at night..and during a storm I love to curl up in bed and read a good book with my cats and dog...very soothing.

I also love ocean sound at night, when you are staying a hotel on the ocean and you hear the waves hitting the beach all night long..wonderful!!!

My kids laughing, the ocean, rain at night with maybe some wind, windchimes, and the birds waking us up at 4:30 AM singing good morning to us!

I'll have to say a violin and classical music. Have been falling asleep at night listenting to them the past couple nights.

I have some cds of Disney music played in an easy listening style(piano, acoustic guitar, etc.) They are very relaxing.

For me the most soothing of sounds is rain softly falling as I lay in my bed on a warm summer's night. Very relaxing to me.
