Touring plans might be worth it just for the reservation finder... ten bucks in contrast to how expensive everything at Disney is might be worth it if these meals mean a lot to you. I've had great luck with it... best wishes to you guys hope you find those reservations!

Very last minute stuff opens up. We were at the WDW a couple weeks ago and I tried for 180 days to get a 9 AM Chef Mickeys, but settled for a 10:30. The morning of our ADR, there was a 9, so I modified the ADR and we were able to eat at 9.

TBH- On last year's trip I booked 1900 park fare for dinner on the night of our arrival. We were famished. It was the worst meal I have ever had at WDW (think Home Town Buffet) I was a let down on our first night. Maybe you can score a last second Ohana cancel and do 1900 for Breakfast? All the breakfasts are pretty reliable. People definitely cancel the day before when they have to make the decision to use it or pay the cancel fee. Askershus would be a better one also. That's 2 monorail rides. : )

We typically book our reservations on the day we want them. So, like, when we wake up in the morning at WDW. It has worked well for us the last few trips.

check about 11pm - midnight (start even earlier) the night before you need it. this is when people who canceled to avoid the noshow fee tend to get rid of extra adrs (hoarders). I've found about 95% of any adr I want doing this trick.

Also, try to modify your existing reservation. Ive found modifying wrong adrs seem to be easier to get the adr and time you want, especially as it gets closer to the time you want to eat.

Today I am thankful for EVERYTHING.. My family, that we are going to the happiest place on earth in four days...... And my 1900 reservation I got! Not to mention the BOG reservation I also got!!! Happy Thanksgiving to all of you. And of you're still planning your vacation, don't stress out. Lots of times open up the week before your trip!!!!

3) As an FYI, there were nineteen eateries without ADR's between 11:00am-1:45am.
. . . they were so bare, that some took lunch walk-ins of up to 18-people in a group!
. . . and, that was within a park !
4) It is a shame, but the popular eateries got the business and others just had vacant tables.

1) Just happened that way.
2) I could only guess that people were more interested in rides than eats.
3) I know it sure had a few SERVERS
. . . scratching their heads by no guests, and
. . . complaining about the lapse in tips during a major holiday dining period.

There's nothing like the day before you need it. I checked on Wednesday morning for Thursday lunch or dinner. There were a lot of choices.
